News reports indicate that Asif Ali Zardari wants to become the president of Pakistan. There is no doubt he has emerged as the power political figure in Pakistan. It is said that political like MQM thinks he is the best candidate for presidency.

I am shocked. How can they support a man who is still under criminal investigation in Switzerland over allegations that received kickbacks on state contracts. Newsweek report ‘Zardari on the Hot Seat’ tells us that he is still under investigation and his using his using his growing political clout to close the case.

The big question is: Will Americans approve his presidency?
