Samsung’s is planning to launch a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A52s. The phone is expected to be made available in 128GB storage model. Samsung Galaxy A52s has also been spotted on Geekbench, in which some specifications have also been revealed.
The phone, however, will be an offshoot of the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.
91Mobiles has reported that the Samsung Galaxy A52s could be launched very soon. The tipster claims that the phone will launched in the European market first. There is no clarity on the specific timeline of the launch yet. It is also uncertain whether the handset will launch in other markets including India.
Samsung Galaxy A52s may come in a 128GB storage model that is expected to cost EUR 449 (approximately Rs 39,400). It was not elaborated on the specifications or the design changes that Samsung might bring with the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G models.
Samsung Galaxy A52s with model number SM-A528B has also been spotted on Geekbench. It is listed to run on Android 11, possibly based on One UI and is expected to pack 8GB of RAM. The phone is reported to be powered by a processor codenamed ‘Lahaina’ and the CPU information suggests that it could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. This is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 750 SoC seen on the Galaxy A52 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A52S scored 770 in single-core testing and 2,804 in multi-core testing.
