Did Saudi forces fired on Ethiopian refugees and killed them?

Yes, according to multiple sources, Saudi forces have killed hundreds of Ethiopian migrants and asylum seekers who tried to cross the Yemen-Saudi border between March 2022 and June 2023.

Human Rights Watch has accused Saudi Arabia's border security forces of carrying out mass killings of hundreds or possibly thousands of Ethiopian migrants and asylum seekers, including women and children, who attempted to cross into the kingdom from Yemen.

Eyewitness reports and images show dead bodies and burial sites on migrant routes, and the death toll could even be “possibly thousands.” [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
