What are the legal consequences for those who commit honor killings in Pakistan

 Under the new law passed in 2016 in Pakistan, perpetrators of honor killings can no longer walk free even if pardoned by the victim's family. The law guarantees mandatory prison sentences of 25 years and strips families of the right to legally pardon the perpetrators of honor killings
