More than 100 mm of rain is expected in Shar-e-Quaid during the first monsoon spell.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that monsoon winds will start entering Sindh from tonight while rains are likely in Karachi including Sindh from July 2.
Sardar Sarfraz said that there is a possibility of thundershowers and heavy rains in Karachi from July 3 to July 5, while there is a possibility of strong dusty winds or gusts before the rains.
He said that more than 100 mm of rain is expected in Karachi during the first spell due to which there are fears of urban flooding in the low lying areas of the city.
