Google has added another useful feature to Google Maps

 Google Maps has added an insight tab that will be part of the timeline and will track users’ travel modes on a monthly basis.

Google Maps is one of the most popular apps across the globe by people. They will find this new feature very useful

 This feature is being introduced gradually and will be available to all users very soon.

  Map users will be able to compare their activities through Insight. It will allow them how much time they have spent on feet and time consumed by using other mode of transport.

 In addition, personal data will allow consumers to gauge their travel habits.

 The Insight feature will also be used by Google to find out the locations you have visited and tell you which day of the month has been the busiest.

 Yes, this feature will track your activity and in more detail, whether you consider it good or dangerous, it’s up to you.

 This feature has just been introduced in Germany and the UK and will soon be available in other parts of the world.

 Google is also making some changes to the Maps user interface and reducing space, adding new floating buttons that will help make changes to the timeline.


 A new Trips tab is also being added to Google Maps.

Google introduces support for storing Vaccine Card in Google’s Android devices

 Android smartphone users will be able to save their Covid-19 vaccination record in their devices in the near future.

 Google has added the ability to save this record by updating the API for Passes.

 Google announced this in a blog post on June 30. However, this does not mean that you will be able to upload your vaccination card right now.

 This updated API or application programming interface will allow developers of government agencies and medical institutions around the world to create digital versions of vaccination cards or Covid test results.

Google said that once a user saves a digital version of a Covid-19 record on his device, he will be able to access it via a shortcut on the device’s home screen.

 The company said that even if Internet service is not available or in a region where Internet service is not very good, users will still have access to this record.

 The Passes API is commonly used by Google Pay Vault users to secure boarding passes, loyalty cards, gift cards, tickets and more.

 But after this update, people who do not use the Google Pay app will also be able to store their digital codec in the device.

 Since Google will not keep a copy of the card, users will need to download it from a government agency or others to secure the codec on different devices.

 These cards will have the company or government logo at the top, followed by the user’s name, date of birth and other relevant details such as manufacturer of the  the vaccine or laboratory where test was conducted, etc.

 This updated API is being introduced for the first time in the US and will be rolled out to other countries soon.

More than one third of people who recovered from covid-19 are at risk for developing different symptoms for a long time – A study

A medical study conducted in Switzerland has revealed that four out ten of people recovered from covid-19 developed different symptoms which may last for months. 

The study included 410 people diagnosed with Covid-19, but the severity of the disease was not high enough to require hospitalization. 

39% of them reported various symptoms 7 to 9 months after defeating the disease. Most of them reported fatigue after recovery. 20.7% reported loss of smell and 11.7% reported difficulty in breathing. 10% recovered people reported headache after recovery.  

 Among these, fatigue was the most common symptom of long-cod, followed by 20.7%, followed by loss of sense of smell (16.8%), difficulty breathing (11.7%) and headache (10%).  Were the most symptomatic.

Researchers has found that women are more likely to develop these symptoms than.  They also notice these symptoms can develop in people of all ages, including young and healthy. 

 Research has found that women are more likely than men to have symptoms of long-term symptoms such as fatigue, breathing problems and pain.

According to research, the severity of long-term symptoms is mild to moderate, but they can affect quality of life.

Researchers noticed in their study that 50 percent of young over the age of 30 had symptoms even after six months.

 It was found during the study people who were isolated at home had higher levels of antibodies and continued symptoms like asthma, or chronic lung diseases. 

 The study found that 30 percent of patients at home with Covid-19 had developed symptom of fatigue.

 Researchers say that memory impairment and difficulty concentrating are alarming symptoms for young people studying in colleges or universities.

They stressed the need for the importance of vaccination to prevent the long-term adverse affect on health of victums of Covid-19.

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, known as ‘Shahinsha e Jazbat’, has passed away

Legendary Bollywood actor Yusuf Khan alias Dilip Kumar, popularly known as ‘Emperor of Emotions’, has died at the age of 98 after a long illness.

 According to Indian media, Dilip Kumar was shifted to hospital for the second time in a month on June 30 due to respiratory problems.

 Dilip Kumar’s death was also confirmed on the social networking site Twitter.

 After being hospitalized for a week, he was allowed to return home on June 11 after water was drained from his lungs.

 Due to his longevity, Dilip Kumar had been admitted to the hospital for a  number of times with difficulty breathing, chest pain, lung and kidney problems.

 Dilip Kumar has been away from all kinds of celebrations for a decade and used to stay at home due to old age and illness.

Born on December 11, 1922 in Peshawar, Dilip Kumar’s real name was Yusuf Khan and he entered the film world in 1944 at the age of 22 with the film ‘Jowar Bhata’.

He has been a part of many super hit films like ‘Andaz’, ‘Dagh’, ‘Ram Aur Sham’, ‘Naya Door’, ‘Madhumati’, ‘Devdas’ and ‘Aadmi’.

Pfizer vaccine is 64% effective against Corona Type Delta

The Code 19 vaccine developed by Pfizer-Bio-Tech is one of the few effective vaccines in the world with an efficacy of over 90%.

However, the vaccine is not as effective against the new corona virus Delta.

This was revealed in a preliminary investigation conducted by the Israeli Ministry of Health.

The study compared the 95% efficacy of the vaccine against the early strains of the virus with the delta strain.

This type, which first appeared in India, has caused more than 90% of new cases in Israel in the last two weeks.

Data collected during the study in June indicated that people who took two doses of the Pfizer vaccine could get up to 64% protection against the Delta type.

However, research has shown that the vaccine is up to 93% effective in preventing the severity of the disease and hospitalization.

The researchers said that the Delta type is highly contagious, but the results indicate that the use of the vaccine helps to protect people from the seriousness of the covid and death.

Earlier, a May 2021 study by Public Health England found that Pfizer / Bio-N Tech and covid vaccine developed by the University of AstraZeneca / Oxford were highly effective against this new strain of corona virus.

In comparison, the astraZeneca vaccine has a 60% efficacy against Delta.

According to Public Health England, the possible reason for the difference in efficacy of the two vaccines is that the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine is given at longer intervals than the Pfizer vaccine.
