ZTE Axon 30 5G
In 2020, the Chinese company ZTE introduced the world’s first smartphone with an under-display camera -the Axon 20 5G.
Now the company has introduced the new smartphone Axon 30 5G which equipped with ‘Next Generation Under Display Camera’.
The company has adopted new technology to ensure a bezel-free screen experience.
Other companies are working on the development of phones with such technology, but so far ZTE is the only company that has introduced this technology in 2 phones.
The phone was first introduced in China, but will soon be rolled out to other countries.
The Axon 30 5G comes with a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support. AMOLED display comes with 20.5:9 cinema-grade aspect ratio.
According to the company, the phone supports intelligent display optimization and intelligent pixel in-house.
As per the information provided by the company, the smartphone is equipped with an independent screen display chip for accuracy by intelligent pixel enhancement and intelligent display optimisation. It comes with seven layers of “highly transparent” materials and three special processing technologies. ZTE says the screen has also got three eye-protection certifications.
ZTE has used Snapdragon 870 processor. The new ZTE Axon 30 5G runs MyOS 11, based on Android 11.
The phone comes with 6 and 12 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage options and the company says that the memory fusion technology for the phone has been used to increase the storage and RAM performance.
The Axon 30 has a 4200 mAh battery with 55 watt fast charging support and a triple ice cooling system.
Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port and Android 11 operating system.
There is a setup of 4 cameras on the back of the phone.
The phone’s main camera is a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor, with an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide, a 5-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera.
The company said that the camera setup has dual way video stabilization support.
