In the past, science has also proved through numerous researches that not getting as much sleep as is necessary for health can cause the risk of alzheimer’s disease.

Recently, a study conducted by the University of Miami Miller School showed that people who sleep for 9 or more hours have poor memory, while such people also lose the ability to communicate with someone and both of these symptoms are early signs of dementia.

Experts say that this does not mean that you should reduce your bedtime too much because people who sleep less than 6 hours a night also have an increased risk of developing dementia.

Now the question arises that how many hours should a person sleep so that his health is not affected? According to experts, the answer to this question is that the best duration of night’s sleep is 7 to 8  hours.

Experts have said that people who are at risk of dementia have some obstacles in their brain, due to which such people feel that they should get more sleep.

Excessive sleep is related to ‘hyperintensities’ in the brain, which delivers less amount of blood to the brain, due to excessive sleep, the substance of ‘hyperintensities’ increases, due to which the risk of stroke or dementia increases.

In this study, experts tracked the memory, thoughts, language, and reaction time of 5247 people, who were between the ages of 45 and 75 years, in addition to neurocongressive tests.

experts also made the participants fill out questionnaires in which questions were asked about their sleeping habits, when they sleep, when they wake up and how long they sleep during the day.

After this study, experts found that 15 percent of people slept 9  hours a night and they saw a 13 percent decrease in memory, while their ability to communicate was also reduced by 20 percent.

Dr Ramos, a neurologist at the University of Miami, said: “We found that people who sleep excessively or those who sleep very little have a higher effect of memory impairment, which leads to Alzheimer’s disease.”

It should be noted that Alzheimer’s disease is a disease that is related to the brain, while in this disease, the memory of a person becomes weak, in this disease, the patient starts asking the same question again and again and when the disease increases excessively, the patient refuses to recognize his family.
