Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the company’s first under-display camera phone Almost 3 years after the introduction of the Mi Mix 3 concept phone, its real successor has emerged, which is also Xiaomi’s best phone ever.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the first smartphone of this company which comes a selfie camera hidden inside the display. The biggest development of the phone is the 20-megapixel selfie camera hidden inside the 6.67-inch elbow display with 1.6 µm size pixels.
The company has used the term camera under panel for this technology.
To keep the pixels right in the camera section, the company has used a new flexible display to make the circuit as transparent as possible so that the light could reach the selfie camera sensor. Xiaomi linked it to algorithms using a new micro-diamond pixel pattern to minimize light deflection while easily reading text on the screen above the camera.
Gorilla Glass Victor has been used to protect the display, with 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD Plus resolution support.
The Mi Mix 4 has a ceramics back. It will be available in white, black and gray.
The phone has a new Snapdragon 888 Plus processor with 8 to 12 GB RAM and 128 to 512 GB storage options.
The Mi Max 4 has a 4500 mAh battery with 120 watt wired charging support which can fully charge the battery in just 21 minutes while the 50 watt wireless charging support will fully charge the phone in 45 minutes.
Another special feature of the phone is Ultra Wide Band which improves positioning data and smart device controls.
There is a setup of 3 cameras on the back of the Mi Mix 4.
The phone has a 108-megapixel main camera with a 1 / 1.33-inch sensor with optical image stabilization.
The other is a 50-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and 120mm focal length.
The third is a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a free form lens.
