Sharp is one of the first companies in the world to introduce a bezel-less smartphone. The bezel-less design was introduced to provide a bigger screen size to smartphone users.
The Sharp Aquos was introduced several years ago with a unique design that Xiaomi later used for its first Mi Mix smartphone. The Aquos was launched in 2001 in three different screen sizes
Sharp often offers smartphones equipped with unique technologies. Now a new unique phone has been introduced in the form of Aquos Zero 6.
Sharp says it is the world’s lightest 5G smartphone. But this is not true.
This phone weighs only 146 grams and has a 4010 mAh battery.
Despite its lightweight, the phone has a 6.4-inch IGZO OLED display with 240 Hz refresh rate support, while the Gorilla Glass Victus is used to protect the screen.
Inside the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. It is an 8 nm chip with an X52 5G modem.
This modem supports both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz spectrum.
The chipset offers true HDR gaming. The chipset comes with Adreno HDR Fast Blend which can help you in complex rendering. The Snapdragon 750G also comes with Qualcomm Game Color Plus which will give you life-like graphics.
The Kryo 570 CPU comes with a new architecture that enhances its performance. The Adreno 619 GPU boasts improvement.
The back of the phone has a setup of 4 cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera with 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide, 8-megapixel 2X telephoto, and TOF cameras.
The 12.6-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is hidden in the Drop Notch. The good news is that Sharp has used its latest ProPix3 image processing engine.
Other notable features include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, BlueTooth 5.1 and dual-band GNSS.
The fingerprint sensor is mounted inside the screen while water and dust resistance features are also part of this phone.
The price of the phone has not been announced by the company but it will be available in pre-order from the end of September.
