Two senior BJP officials were quoted in the report as saying that 30 senior party leaders and federal ministers have been given instructions to go on talk shows and state their positions.

“We don’t want party leaders to say anything that hurts a community’s religious sentiments,” the senior BJP leader said. They must, in any case, adhere to the party’s rules.

Other Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and Afghanistan, have strongly protested following the BJP spokesperson’s blasphemous statement.

Furthermore, the OIC has condemned the blasphemous remarks.

A BJP official from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has also been detained on charges of making blasphemous remarks on social media.

The damage has been done. The BJP and its leaders have dented India’s image. Now the Muslims world has woken up and it will create problems for Indians in the future in Muslims countries. Their activities and actions will be closely monitored.
