Ready-to-Wear Suits in Pakistan: Sapphire Prices, Sizes and the Real Cost of Buying Online

A ready-to-wear suit solves one problem for Pakistani shoppers: there is no need to wait for a tailor. But a stitched suit can create another expense when the shoulders, trousers or shirt length do not fit.

That matters when a customer is choosing between a finished outfit and unstitched fabric. The price on the website is only part of the calculation.

For this guide, I examined a Sapphire ready-to-wear listing and the retailer’s published size chart and exchange policy. This is not a ranking of Pakistani clothing brands; it examines what a buyer can establish before placing an online order.

What Does Rs 7,990 Buy at Sapphire?

Sapphire’s official website listed a two-piece solid Bedford suit, product code 2PCST6CASV96, for Rs 7,990 in October 2026. The outfit consists of a beige straight shirt and matching trousers, both described as Bedford fabric.

The product description identifies the shirt as slim-fitting, a relevant detail for anyone preferring a looser cut. The listed components do not include a dupatta. See the official Sapphire product listing.

Why the Size Chart Matters More Than the Model Photograph

Sapphire’s size chart for this suit lists a shirt length of 40 inches across XS to XL. Its listed shoulder measurements rise from 14 inches in XS to 16 inches in XL, while the chest figure rises from 19 to 24 inches.

For medium, the chart gives a chest figure of 21 inches. Buyers should confirm the retailer’s measurement convention before comparing that figure with their body measurements: a flat garment width and a full chest circumference are not interchangeable.

The model is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing small. A different-height buyer may find the shirt falls differently. Comparing the size chart with a comfortable shirt already owned is more useful than relying on the photograph.

Does Ready-to-Wear Really Save Money?

Consider two hypothetical purchases. An unstitched suit costs Rs 4,500, tailoring Rs 1,800 and delivery Rs 250, for a total of Rs 6,550. A ready-to-wear outfit costs Rs 7,000, requires Rs 600 in alterations and Rs 250 delivery, totalling Rs 7,850.

The ready-to-wear outfit costs Rs 1,300 more in this example. These are illustrative figures, not Sapphire prices or a survey of tailoring charges. The comparison excludes the time spent visiting a tailor and waiting for stitching.

A suit that fits without alterations may save time; one needing adjustment loses some of that advantage. For a separate fabric-cost comparison, see our guide to buying lawn suits online in Pakistan.

What the Fabric Description Does Not Tell You

The product page identifies Bedford fabric, but photographs cannot establish its comfort in humid weather or durability after washing. Decorative work alone is not proof of stitching quality.

I have not physically examined this Sapphire suit and cannot claim it outperforms another brand’s fabric.

What Happens If the Suit Does Not Fit?

Sapphire’s published exchange policy describes a 30-day window for eligible items, subject to unused, unwashed and unaltered condition, original tags, packaging and proof of purchase. Sale and discounted articles are excluded from ordinary exchanges and returns under the stated policy.

A buyer who orders medium and receives medium but dislikes the fit may have different options from someone who orders medium and receives small. For online returns, the retailer specifies incorrect or defective deliveries as qualifying cases subject to verification. It states that cash refunds are not offered and approved returns generally result in credit vouchers.

The retailer describes online exchange processing as taking approximately seven to ten working days. Read the current Sapphire exchange and return policy before payment. These are retailer terms, not a complete statement of applicable consumer rights.

What to Check Before Paying

Compare chest, shoulder and shirt length measurements with an outfit that fits. Confirm whether the listing includes trousers or a dupatta, read the fabric and care description, and check the exchange conditions for the specific product, especially discounted items.

Keep the invoice and order confirmation. Inspect the garment before removing tags or altering it. If an incorrect or defective item arrives, document the problem and contact the retailer promptly.

Is Ready-to-Wear Worth Paying Extra For?

A ready-to-wear suit is worth paying extra for when it fits properly and saves a visit to the tailor. If the buyer must pay for alterations, the convenience begins to disappear.

Before ordering, the most useful number may not be the discount percentage but the garment’s measurements.

Research note: This article uses Sapphire’s official product listing and published exchange policy reviewed in October 2026. Prices, availability and policies may change. The cost comparison is illustrative. No garments were physically tested, and this article is not sponsored by Sapphire.
