Most deaths worldwide, including heart attacks and stroke, are the result of heart diseases and stroke, and a common dietary habit of people in the current era is a major cause of this.

This was revealed in a new medical study

What are the effects of excessive use of sugar on the body?

The study, published in the journal BMC Medicine, suggests that if the amount of sugar in your diet is too high, then you should also be prepared for diseases related to the arteries of the heart.

According to research, sugar added to foods increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

For this study, data was obtained from the UK Biobank of more than 110,000 people who had completed at least two nutrition surveys.

What are the effects of skipping one meal a day on the body?

After examining this data, the researchers assessed the health of these people for 9.4 years and monitored cases of heart disease, stroke or heart attack during this period.

The results showed that excessive consumption of sugar through foods and drinks increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases and clots.

The research found that the higher the amount of sugar in the diet, the higher the risk of heart disease, stroke and heart attack.

Research has shown that excessive consumption of sugar increases the risk of heart disease by 6 percent and the risk of stroke by 10 percent.

Researchers said that preferring natural sweeteners such as fruits and vegetables instead of sugar can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Similarly, excessive consumption of dietary fiber daily can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases by up to 4 percent.
