Infinix has launched a new smartphone in its Hot series. I think it is a very good smartphone in the mid-range in my opinion. Infinix Pakistan says it has been launched for gaming enthusiasts. However, considering my past experience with Infinix I think it is an ideal smartphone for people who need a smartphone for daily use.

Infinix Hot 11S has an impressive 6.78 inch IPS LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate. The 399 ppi density tells us that it is a very good screen where you can see your contents or movies in stunning colors.

The 500 nits tell us that we can use it on a sunny day without any problem. We all know that we have to go out for work and pleasure. A smartphone with low nits causes a lot of problem in view contents on mobile screen.

Infinix has used NEG Dinorex for screen protection. This technology has been developed by Nippon Electric Glass. It has as good as Gorilla glass made by Corning for smartphones.

Infnix has used  MediaTek’s Helio G88 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage device. The CPU has fastest cores. It has two 2GHz Arm Cortex-A75 and six 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55. It is a good combination of cores at a reasonable price of the smartphone. The combination of these cores will give enormous processing power.

A special feature of the phone is its cinematic dual speakers which are equipped with DTS audio.

With a 5000 mAh battery, 18 watts of fast charging support is provided and according to the company, the battery can be charged up to 50% in 50 minutes.

Similarly, the company claims that a fully charged battery can last up to 60 days on standby, while 142 hours of continuous music play, 13 hours of gaming and 51 hours of calls can be made.

The back of the phone has a setup of 3 cameras with a 50-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel depth and another camera. The main camera comes with PDAF(Phase Detection Autofocus). On the front is an 8-megapixel camera with a punch-hole design.

According to the company, the camera setup has features like Auto Focus, Night Mode and iTracking Auto Focus, while for the first time in any of the phones in this series, the feature of 240 frames per second slow motion video has also been given.

The phone will be available in Pakistan for Rs 25,999

Infinix Hot 11S

Infinix Hot 11S has been launched. Its specification indicates it will be another robust and powerful smartphone at a reasonable price. My experience with Infinix smartphones tells me they make high-quality robust smartphones.

Infinix HOT 11S has been launched with 4GB and MediaTek Helio G88 (12nm). The performance cores of this chipset can reach the speed of 2.0 GHz.  The two cores comprise 2 x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 and  6 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55.  This octa-core CPU will enable fast app loading and camera snaps.

Now let us explore how much power our MediaTek Helio G88 will provide process power to users for performing their tasks. This chipset offers intelligent resource management. Management of resources is very important in mobile as they gave a limited amount of processing power and energy.

Today’s smartphone requires a fast networking engine because fast and reliable connections are essential to run games and other applications.

Infinix has used ARM Mali-G52 which is an efficient midrange graphic card and provides good performance and it is energy efficient.  This GPU supports all modern graphics APIs. Experts say the energy-efficient feature of the Mali-G52 makes it good for gaming too.

Infinix HOT 11S comes with an IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 500 nits indicate users can see content in a bright day.

The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery and comes with 10W charging support

The Zero X, Zero X Pro and Zee New are the company’s first phones to feature periscope cameras.

The Periscope camera is usually the top model in a series, but Infinix has given these lenses to all three phones, and according to the company, the best pictures of the moon can be taken.

The company has now announced the Zero X Pro and Zero X New for sale in Pakistan, which will be available in pre-order from October 11.

The Zero X Pro’s 6.67-inch AMOLED display is equipped with a 120 Hz refresh rate with the help of MediaTek’s intelligent display chipset.

The Zero X9 has a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 5000 mAh battery with 18 watts of fast charging support.

The X Pro has a 4500 mAh battery with 45 watt fast charging support and according to the company, zero to 40% of the battery can be charged in 15 minutes.

Both phones are powered by MediaTek’s Helio G95 processor, while the Android operating system is integrated with XOS 7.6.

Both the phones have 128 GB storage while 8 GB RAM is provided but Zero X Pro has the feature of Virtual RAM Expansion which will provide 3 GB additional RAM along with 8.

The main cameras of both the phones are different and the Zero X Pro is the best in that it has a 108 megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

The Zero XNu’s main camera is a 48-megapixel camera that does not support iOS.

Periscope cameras in phones feature 5x optical and 60x digital zoom, while they also have an algorithm Galileo engine that controls the camera while taking pictures of the moon and then processes the data. Provides the best results.

In other words, both the phones have 3 cameras on the back and 16 megapixel selfie camera on the front with dual LED flash.

The Zero X New is priced at Rs 32,999 while the Zero X Pro is priced at Rs 47,999.

Infinix Hot 10S

There is a fierce competition among the smartphone companies to launch smartphones in the budget range segment. We recently saw 5 different variants of Redmi 9 series,  6 variants of Realme C series. There prices are within 10 thousand rupees.

Infinix Hot 10S is also the new smartphone in this range.  Specifications of Infinix smartphones tell that the company is offering premium devices in budget range. But it also has some shortcomings, which can be improved. I have been using Infinix smartphones for a long time and found devices impressive and robust. I use all kinds of apps. Such as my exchange emails, streaming services and other utilities.

Built quality and design

The Hot 10S is made entirely of plastic and you will get to see the unique diamond cut flow pattern design used on the back panel. The company has sent Morandi Blue color variant to us, which may not be said to be very attractive in appearance, but definitely okay. The phone weighs 200 grams feels heavy to hold as it is also 9mm wide.

Both the power button and volume rocker have been placed on the right hand so that they can be used easily. The fingerprint scanner is at the back. It has dedicated slots for a micro SD card and dual 4G SIM card slots. The worst thing about this smartphone is that it still offers the same old-fashioned micro USB charging port, which comes with a basic 10W charger. Whereas, now smartphones are being launched in the market with fast charging and Type-C. The biggest thing about this smartphone is that you get not one but two LED flashes on the front panel.

Performance

The biggest identity of any smartphone is its performance and if a smartphone coming under 10 thousand rupees comes with tremendous performance, then the matter is different.

In Infinix Hot 10S comes with  4GB and 6GB of RAM, which includes 64GB of internal storage. This smartphone has the latest Mediatek Helio G85 processor, which is an upgraded version of the G70 itself. This means you will get  a strong processor in this budget smartphone. The display with a refresh rate of 90Hz is impressive and seems quite fast. You can move between application smoothly. Normal smartphone users use basic applications.

The impressive specifications of this smartphone offers good gaming experience to gamers.

Game lovers have played Call of duty for hours and did not experience any problem.

In Hot 10S comes with a 6.82-inch LCD display which offers 720 pixels resolution and 440 nits brightness. You will not experience any problem in brightness levels even outside the house in strong sunlight. I watched some series on OTT platform in which I didn’t get very good experience, but it doesn’t disappoint you either. Apart from this, this phone comes with Widevine L3 certification, so you have to face some problems in watching Netflix or Prime Video, that is, the pixels of the video content start bursting because this smartphone is not able to stream in full 720 pixels. although, If you pay attention to other smartphones in this segment, then you will see the same problem in them. Apart from this, the performance of the speakers will also be fine. The single speaker below doesn’t have bass, so you’ll need a Bluetooth headphone or earphones with a 3.5mm jack for better audio.

Software

In Infinix Hot 10s comes Android 11 as well as XOS 7.6 software. Due to this, now its UI looks very clean and good. Not only this, it also does not get to see a dozen pre-installed games like before, which we are often seeing in other Infinix phones. However, there are still some pre-installed apps in it, which are from Infinix and you cannot uninstall them. However, these apps don’t bother you that much. In this my favorite feature was XOS which is ‘Thunderback’. As fancy as its name is, it is also useful. In this case, you can open the floating window automatically by double tapping on the fingerprint sensor. In this, its UI looks very nice and easy. All these popular apps work with YouTube, Instagram, Whatsapp and Chrome so that is great.

Battery is good then charging is bad

The Hot 10S packs a 6,000 mAh battery which has become a standard in almost all smartphones in this segment. But yes, if seen, you get a strong battery in it. You can easily use it for two days. At the same time, after a single charge, you can watch videos or play games in it for 8 hours continuously. Overall, after charging once, even if you do many things in your phone, it will run smoothly for a day. As mentioned earlier, there is a 10W charger, so it takes up to 4 hours to charge from 0 to 100%. That is, it is one of those smartphones that you charge at night and use it throughout the day. If the company had given a little fast charging with C-type port in it, it would have been a great smartphone.

How strong is the camera?

The Hot 10S sports a triple rear camera, but you seem to be using only one camera and it’s 48 MP sensor, which takes pixel-bind photos by default of 12 MP. There is also a depth sensor which is still being measured and the third camera is with AI lens. Big scientists of the world are also trying to find out that what does this work? But to be honest, I find this to be a gimmick that Infinix is using to fool people. It doesn’t have any ultrawide lens. It also has a selfie camera which is of 8MP. There is a dedicated LED flash for selfie. The low-light photography of both the front and rear cameras is best in class. The rear camera can do a little better, especially when you are clicking and cropping photos in a wide range.

Talking about the color science of Infinix, a lot of improvement is needed here too, because mostly you will not find natural colors in it and you also get to see dull human skin tone. Portrait mode also doesn’t work so well. Overall, the Hot 10s is not a smartphone with a better camera performance in this segment.

The price of 4GB / 64GB storage variant of Infinix Hot 10S is INR9,999 and to be honest, if you are buying this smartphone in terms of camera or watching videos then do not buy at all. But yes, if you are buying a cheap gaming smartphone and want a little better performance then you can buy it. You also get good battery backup in this. In this smartphone, you definitely get the benefit of Social Turbo features with XOS.
