If you want to keep the mind strong, then lift some weight

Lifting weights and exercising even at the age of 50 and 60 keeps the brain stronger and better at the age of 70.

Pennsylvania: If you are going through any age period, the habit of lifting weights at that time can make you mentally strong. In this way, mental and neurological disorders can also be avoided.

Although the mental benefits of physical activity and exercise have been proven to be established. Because exercise can keep the brain strong for a long time by removing diseases like dementia and Alzheimer’s. According to a report published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry a few days ago, Professor James Danon of the University of Pennsylvania has done this research.

In summary, physical activity at any time in life is beneficial for the brain and in the same way, the brain can remain strong for a long time due to hard work or exercise done in early age or youth.

For this, a survey was conducted and 1500 people were evaluated for about 30 years. From adolescence to the average age of 69 years, their cognitive, mental and mental abilities were assessed. These included brain processing speed, word memory, and other tests.

The most important finding was that those in their 50s and 60s who had adopted the habit of lifting light weights, walking or jogging, even at the age of 70, their brains were stronger than others. Even the benefits of physical exertion done once a month came to the fore which is amazing. Even the benefits of weightlifting and lifting weights were evident.

It has revealed three important things that the mental benefits of exercise are revealed even at the age of 50 and 60 years, secondly, even if this exercise is done only once a month or week, it is also useful and thirdly, the benefits of exercise remain even after many years.
